5 Months Old!

Ok so Max is 5 months old today. The time is going by SOO fast! He is thee cutest little baby and so much fun. He is always smiling and always happy. (Well 90% of the time) but heck that is more than any normal person. He is pretty special.
Some things he is doing:
-rolls over from his tummy to back.
-laughs so hard
-can almost sit on his own.
-eats rice cereal
-try's really hard to roll from his back to tummy but still not there yet.
-grabs onto things and shakes them.
-reaches for things
-and he puts everything in his mouth

Another blog!

So I have started another blog. I know there are a bozillion cooking/baking blogs out there, but I wanted to start one as well. Because I really do enjoy cooking/baking when I do it. And because it gives me something to do during the day! So pop on over and check it out! 3 Month Old Max

My sweet little Max is not so little anymore. He is growing so fast I can't believe it! Today he is 3 months old. THREE MONTHS!!! These last three months have flown by. Where is my time going!? Before I know it he is going to be a teenager. NO! I don't ever want him to grow up. Is there a way to make that happen? I know he will and I guess thats ok. I love every minute with him. I love his adorable smile and his cute giggle. I absolutely love watching him learn and discover new little things which are new things for him. Quin and I are obsessed and I think we will be forever. Love you Max!

3rd and 4th of July!

We had a fabulous time celebrating thee independence of our country!
It was my little brother Bryson's birthday on the 3rd and we celebrated by going to breakfast and shopping! I love hanging out with my brother:)
That night Quin and I met some friends up at Eaglewood fireworks. It was Max's first time seeing fireworks and he watched the whole show so intently and he didn't even cry. So proud of my little guy!
On the 4th we had a ward breakfast at 7:00 am! Who does that! Way too early. Later that afternoon we went up to our good friends Jeff and Ashton's and had a BBQ and went swimming! Another first for Max. And he loved the pool! Quin and I made a pretty good baby I must say. He just hung out in the pool for like 45 min and looked like he was enjoying himself!
That night we joined Quin's parents, their friends, and Quin's brother Casey and sister-in-law Katie at Stadium of Fire! It was SO hot! Poor Max was sweating and like a little heater. We had to put wet paper towels on him from the bathroom to cool him down. But he was such a trooper thee whole time and didn't cry! Let me say again...Quin and I made one good baby:) The Beach Boys concert was do fabulous! LOVED IT! And the firework show AMAZING!
We had such a great time celebrating the 3rd and 4th! Hope everyone else did as well!

Max is 2 months old!

Max turned two months old on Wednesday. I cannot believe how fast it has gone by and how big he is getting! He had his two month well check at the doctors on Wednesday and he is growing like a weed. The doc said they usually want to see babies double their birth weight by the time they are 4 months old...ya Max has probably done that by now. He weighed 11lbs 7.5oz. What can I say, he likes to eat and sleep.
Everyone has been asking me how he is sleeping at night, and he sleeps AMAZING! 7-9 hours every night! I am so proud of him:) (and I love getting my sleep. It makes me much happier) Quin and I love our growing boy!

Brothers

Even though Boone is a dog and Max is a human, they are still brothers. Boone loves to give Max kisses and he doesn't mind me placing Max all over him. They will be the best of friends:) Love them.

Simone and Chase get married!

My good friend Simone (aka Sip) married her lover Chase on Saturday June 23rd. Their ceremony/reception was beautiful. My favorite part was seeing all my friends! And Maile even came into town!
